Description

Delightful, handheld stuffing balls made with lean ground turkey and fresh cranberries, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 large egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the egg and broth. Mix thoroughly.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the egg with the chicken broth, then pour into the meat mixture. Season with salt and pepper; mix until evenly combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 1.5-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  5. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

These balls can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
