- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped (about 4.2 ounces)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (about 4 ounces)
- 8 slices frozen garlic toast
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the diced onion and ground beef. Cook until the onions are soft and the beef is no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
- Reduce heat to low and add ketchup, tomato sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Prepare a baking sheet with frozen garlic toast slices. Scoop the beef mixture over each slice and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Preheat oven to 400°F and bake for 10 to 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and toast is heated through.
