Description

A delightful combination of rich cheesecake and spiced apple pie, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups spiced apple filling
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition to ensure a silky texture.
  5. Spread half of the cheesecake mixture evenly over the crust.
  6. Layer the spiced apple filling on top of the cheesecake layer, spreading it gently.
  7. Spread the remaining cheesecake mixture over the apple filling, smoothing it out.
  8. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, oats, and optional nuts to create the streusel topping. Sprinkle it generously over the cheesecake.
  9. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are lightly browned.
  10. Allow the cheesecake to cool completely in the pan before removing the sides of the springform.
  11. Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving to set the flavors.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature cream cheese to avoid lumps and prevent cracking. Consider garnishing with whipped cream or caramel sauce before serving.
