Description
A flavorful fish fillet cooked in a vibrant lemon butter sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients

- 4 fillets of white fish (cod, tilapia, haddock, or similar)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice and zest of 2 lemons
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Pat the fish fillets dry and coat them with olive oil.
- Season both sides with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and flaky. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and add another 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in the lemon juice, zest, parsley, salt, and pepper. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes to meld the flavors.
- Pour the lemon butter sauce over the cooked fish fillets.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and lemon slices for a lovely presentation.
Notes
If white fish isn’t on hand, substitute with salmon or any firm fish variety. Experiment with different herbs for a unique flavor.
