Description

A comforting and indulgent hot cocoa made in a slow cooker, perfect for cold days and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a crock pot, combine whole milk, heavy cream, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Stir well until all ingredients are combined.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 120-180 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is creamy.
  4. Serve warm in mugs and enjoy!

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute whole milk and heavy cream with almond or oat milk. Top with whipped cream or chocolate syrup for an extra treat.
