  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon crumbles (optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss the chicken cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add chicken, and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, then add the onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Lower the heat, stir in the cream cheese until melted and smooth, then gradually whisk in the chicken broth and milk until creamy.
  5. Mix in the ranch seasoning and let simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, stirring to coat in the sauce.
  7. Let the dish simmer for another 2-3 minutes, adding optional ingredients as desired.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately over rice, pasta, or your favorite side dish.
