Delightful and crispy salmon balls flavored with sweet chili sauce and served with a creamy garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound salmon, skinless and boneless
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (for sauce)

Instructions

  1. Combine salmon, breadcrumbs, green onions, sweet chili sauce, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the salmon balls in the heated oil until golden brown, approximately 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. Mix sour cream, lemon juice, and minced garlic in a small bowl until smooth for the sauce.
  6. Serve the salmon balls with the creamy garlic sauce on the side.

Notes

Use whole wheat breadcrumbs for a healthier version or substitute the salmon with canned salmon for convenience. For added flavor, mix in fresh herbs such as dill or parsley.
