Description

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Sprinkles for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Press the sugar cookie dough into a greased 9-inch springform pan and bake for about 10–12 minutes until slightly golden.
  3. Let the crust cool slightly.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with the granulated sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Gently mix in the sour cream and flour until just combined.
  7. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the baked cookie crust and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 45–50 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly jiggly.
  9. Let the cheesecake cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
  10. Add sprinkles before serving if desired.

For a gluten-free variant, use gluten-free cookie dough and flour. For lactose intolerance, substitute with dairy-free cream cheese and sour cream. Avoid overmixing to maintain texture.
