- 12 cannelloni pasta tubes
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix together the ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Stuff the cannelloni tubes with the ricotta and spinach mixture using a piping bag or a spoon.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Arrange the stuffed cannelloni in the baking dish.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the cannelloni and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a healthier twist, consider using whole wheat cannelloni or adding in some sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor.
