Description

A delightful way to reduce kitchen waste while enjoying the rich flavors of garlic and buttery goodness in an easy-to-make pull-apart bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Sourdough discard
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 packet Yeast
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 cup Parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine the sourdough discard, flour, milk, yeast, and salt in a large bowl. Stir until you form a rough dough.
  2. Allow the dough to rest for about 30 minutes to an hour.
  3. Prepare a garlic butter mixture by melting butter and mixing in minced garlic and chopped parsley. After the dough has rested, divide it into equal parts, and dip each piece into the garlic butter mixture before stacking them in a greased baking dish.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F, then bake the assembled bread until golden brown, usually about 25 to 30 minutes.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days, or wrap tightly and freeze for longer storage.
