- 4 wings Turkey Wings
- 1 tbsp Poultry Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Creole or Cajun Seasoning
- 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2 cups Chicken Stock
- To taste Salt
- To taste Pepper
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Celery Salt
- 1 tsp Monosodium Glutamate (MSG)
- 1 medium Onion, freshly sliced
- 1 medium Bell Pepper
Instructions
- Season the turkey wings generously with poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then add the turkey wings and brown them on all sides for about 10-12 minutes.
- Remove the wings from the pan and set them aside.
- Add sliced onions and bell peppers to the same pan, cooking until soft and translucent.
- Sprinkle flour over the vegetable mixture and stir for an additional minute.
- Gradually add chicken stock while stirring continuously to avoid lumps, then add seasonings.
- Return the browned turkey wings to the skillet, cover, and simmer on low for 45 minutes to an hour.
Notes
For deeper flavor, sear wings in a cast-iron skillet and let them marinate overnight. Optionally, use smoked turkey wings for a unique twist.
