Ingredients

  • 4 wings Turkey Wings
  • 1 tbsp Poultry Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Creole or Cajun Seasoning
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Chicken Stock
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Pepper
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Celery Salt
  • 1 tsp Monosodium Glutamate (MSG)
  • 1 medium Onion, freshly sliced
  • 1 medium Bell Pepper

Instructions

  1. Season the turkey wings generously with poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then add the turkey wings and brown them on all sides for about 10-12 minutes.
  3. Remove the wings from the pan and set them aside.
  4. Add sliced onions and bell peppers to the same pan, cooking until soft and translucent.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the vegetable mixture and stir for an additional minute.
  6. Gradually add chicken stock while stirring continuously to avoid lumps, then add seasonings.
  7. Return the browned turkey wings to the skillet, cover, and simmer on low for 45 minutes to an hour.

Notes

For deeper flavor, sear wings in a cast-iron skillet and let them marinate overnight. Optionally, use smoked turkey wings for a unique twist.
