- 4 pork chops
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 cup cheese, shredded (cheddar or a blend)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the pork chops on both sides.
- In a baking dish, combine cream of mushroom soup and sour cream; mix well until smooth and creamy.
- Layer sliced onion evenly over the soup mixture.
- Place the browned pork chops on top of the onion layer.
- Pour any remaining soup mixture over the pork chops and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30-40 minutes, until pork chops are fully cooked and tender.
- In the last 10 minutes of baking, remove the foil to let the cheese brown slightly.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
