Description

Delicious and visually striking dessert bars with a creamy pistachio filling atop a buttery graham cracker crust, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) pistachio instant pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pistachios (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×9 inch baking dish to form the crust.
  3. Bake the crust for about 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the pistachio pudding mix and milk until thickened.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the whipped topping and powdered sugar until combined.
  6. Carefully fold the whipped topping mixture into the pistachio pudding until smooth.
  7. Spread the pistachio cream filling over the cooled crust evenly.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  9. Before serving, top with chopped pistachios for added crunch.
  10. Cut into bars and enjoy!

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free graham crackers. You can also enhance the flavor with a splash of almond extract.
