Description

A delicious combination of classic Philly cheesesteak flavors served on crispy garlic bread, perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf of crispy garlic bread
  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the garlic bread package instructions.
  2. In a skillet, heat a couple of tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced ribeye and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through.
  3. Add the sliced green bell pepper, onion, and mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the crispy garlic bread on a baking sheet.
  5. Spoon the ribeye and vegetable mixture over the garlic bread, spreading it evenly.
  6. Top with shredded provolone cheese, ensuring it’s well-covered.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 5-7 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven, slice into portions, and serve warm.

Notes

For best results, use a cast iron skillet for searing the steak, and consider adding garlic or Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor.
