  • 12 teaspoons red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
  • Extra honey for drizzling (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels, then season with salt, pepper, and oregano.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet, searing for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, red pepper flakes, garlic, and lemon juice.
  5. Pour the hot honey sauce over the seared chicken in the skillet.
  6. Lower the heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 8-10 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove from heat, sprinkle feta cheese over the chicken, and garnish with parsley and extra honey, if desired.
