Description

A no-bake dessert that reimagines the classic pecan pie with layers of creamy textures and nutty flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped (optional: use walnuts for a different flavor)
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup vanilla wafer cookies, crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk (can substitute with almond milk for a dairy-free option)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed vanilla wafers and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish to form a solid crust.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the brown sugar, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly until well incorporated.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped cream until everything is well combined to create the creamy filling.
  4. Spread half of this mixture evenly over the crust.
  5. Sprinkle half of the chopped pecans over the cream layer.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining creamy mixture and pecans on top.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing. Garnish with whipped cream and crushed pecans for a beautiful presentation.
