- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix and ground cinnamon.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish evenly.
- Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the cake mix so that they’re distributed well.
- In another bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the pecans and cake mix, but do not stir.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Dust with powdered sugar for an elegant touch.
