- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1 box (about 15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until fully combined.
- Gently stir in the pecan halves until well distributed.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared dish, ensuring it spreads evenly, then sprinkle the dry cake mix on top without mixing.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix and bake for 45–50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Allow to cool for 15–20 minutes before serving.
Notes
