Description

Tender and flavorful oven-baked ribs with a savory dry rub and sweet barbecue sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 pounds pork ribs (baby back or spare)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar mixed with water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Rinse and pat dry the pork ribs. Remove the silver skin from the bone side.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the ribs and rub in the dry rub mixture, ensuring even coating.
  4. Wrap the ribs tightly in foil and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
  5. Place wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake for about 3 hours.
  6. Uncover, brush with barbecue sauce, and bake for an additional 20 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the ribs marinate overnight. For a crispy exterior, broil briefly after applying barbecue sauce.
