Description
Tender and flavorful oven-baked ribs with a savory dry rub and sweet barbecue sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2–3 pounds pork ribs (baby back or spare)
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar mixed with water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Rinse and pat dry the pork ribs. Remove the silver skin from the bone side.
- Drizzle olive oil over the ribs and rub in the dry rub mixture, ensuring even coating.
- Wrap the ribs tightly in foil and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
- Place wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake for about 3 hours.
- Uncover, brush with barbecue sauce, and bake for an additional 20 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
Notes
For extra flavor, let the ribs marinate overnight. For a crispy exterior, broil briefly after applying barbecue sauce.
