Description

Tender, smoky, and succulent BBQ ribs baked to perfection in the oven.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks of pork ribs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and cover with another piece of foil.
  4. Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 150 to 180 minutes until they are tender.
  5. Remove the ribs from the oven and brush with BBQ sauce.
  6. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and return the ribs to bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
  7. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, marinate the ribs overnight and experiment with different BBQ sauces or spice rubs.
