Description

A creamy dip that harmoniously blends rich flavors of olives, feta, and roasted peppers, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 200 g green olives (pitted)
  • 150 g feta cheese (crumbled)
  • 100 g cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 zest lemon
  • ½ juice lemon
  • 1 roasted red pepper (chopped)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 whole green olives (for garnish)
  • drizzle of olive oil (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pulse the green olives, crumbled feta, and cream cheese in a food processor until mostly smooth but still a little textured, about 20–30 seconds.
  2. Add the extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, and juice of ½ lemon. Process briefly until creamy.
  3. Fold in the chopped roasted red pepper, dried oregano, and chili flakes until evenly distributed.
  4. Season with freshly ground black pepper to taste. Adjust acidity or salt levels with more lemon juice if needed.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and chill for 10–15 minutes.
  6. Garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and whole olives before serving.

Notes

Serve with pita chips or fresh vegetables. This dip can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
