Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla extract, beating until combined smoothly.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Gradually add to wet ingredients, stirring gently until combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped candied fruits, raisins, and nuts.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
