Description

These meatloaf bites combine traditional flavors with a fun twist, featuring gooey cheddar cheese in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 450 grams ground beef
  • 60 grams breadcrumbs
  • 60 milliliters whole milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 60 grams ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 60 grams grated cheddar cheese
  • 15 grams fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until evenly blended.
  3. Take a portion of the mixture, flatten it, place some cheddar cheese in the center, and wrap the meat around the cheese to form a ball. Place on the baking sheet.
  4. Mix ketchup and yellow mustard in a small bowl, then brush the mixture on top of each meatloaf bite.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through and caramelized.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days. They also freeze well for meal prep.
