A delightful cake adorned with whimsical marshmallow reindeer, perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients

- 200 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- 120 g melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 125 g plain yogurt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 6 g baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 200 g white chocolate
- 120 g cream cheese
- 80 ml hot cream
- 6–8 marshmallows
- Mini pretzels (for antlers)
- Red pearls or red M&Ms (for nose)
- Chocolate chips (for eyes)
- White frosting or melted chocolate (to glue)
- Crushed candy canes
- Powdered sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C.
- In a large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Add melted butter and yogurt, mixing until well blended.
- Sift in flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
- In a small saucepan, warm the cream.
- Pour the warm cream over the white chocolate in a bowl and let sit for 1 minute, then stir until smooth.
- Mix in cream cheese and whisk until creamy; let thicken for about 10 minutes.
- For marshmallow reindeer, insert pretzel pieces into marshmallows for antlers, glue a red pearl for the nose and mini chocolate chips for eyes. Let set.
- On a serving platter, frost the cooled cake generously with white frosting.
- Decorate with marshmallow reindeer and sprinkle crushed candy canes around the base. Optionally dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature for a smoother batter. You can replace the white chocolate with dark chocolate for a different flavor profile.
