Description

A rich, tender beef roast infused with the sweet and savory flavors of Korean cuisine, perfect for any dinner occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs beef roast
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • Vegetables (e.g., carrots, potatoes, bell peppers)
  • Steamed rice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and black pepper to create the glaze.
  2. Place the beef roast in a slow cooker and pour the glaze mixture over it, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  3. Add sliced onion and beef broth around the roast.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until the beef is tender.
  5. If using vegetables, add them in the last 2 hours of cooking.
  6. Serve with steamed rice or sautéed vegetables.

Notes

For best results, consider searing the beef before slow cooking. Feel free to customize the vegetables to your liking.
