- 1 pound Ground chicken
- 1 cup Ricotta cheese
- 1 large Egg
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Onion, grated
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley or basil, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 cup Spinach
- 1/2 teaspoon Crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, ricotta cheese, and egg until well-blended. Incorporate the breadcrumbs, minced garlic, grated onion, and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Add in the chopped parsley or basil, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, spinach, and crushed red pepper flakes. Mix until everything is evenly distributed.
- Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the meatballs for approximately 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
Notes
For added flavor, consider searing the meatballs in a pan for 2-3 minutes on each side before baking.
