Ingredients

  • 1 cup honey
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, gently heat the honey until it becomes liquid; pour it into a round baking dish, tilting to coat the bottom evenly.
  3. In a blender, combine the eggs, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour this mixture over the honey layer in the baking dish.
  5. Place the baking dish in a larger baking pan filled with hot water.
  6. Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until the flan is set and a knife inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow the flan to cool before gently inverting onto a serving plate.
