Description

A delightful savory rolled pizza filled with your favorite ingredients, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cooked Italian sausage, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  3. Layer mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, sausage, and Parmesan on the dough.
  4. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the toppings.
  5. Roll the dough tightly into a log shape, sealing the edges to prevent any filling from escaping.
  6. Place the stromboli on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the top with the beaten egg to achieve a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the stromboli is golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Let it cool slightly, then slice and serve with marinara sauce.

Notes

Consider using provolone cheese for a sharper flavor or adding spinach for an extra veggie twist.
