Description

Gingerbread Truffles are a tasty and easy-to-make treat that combines the warm flavors of gingerbread with smooth cream cheese and rich chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup crushed gingerbread cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 8 oz melted chocolate
  • Festive sugar or additional spices for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed gingerbread cookies and cream cheese until well blended.
  2. Add ground ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and mix until evenly incorporated.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. Dip each truffle in melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  6. Sprinkle with festive sugar or additional spices.
  7. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.

Notes

Use soft cream cheese for easier mixing. Chill the truffle balls well before dipping in chocolate to maintain their shape.
