  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, ensuring both sides are well coated.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken, cooking each side for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, around 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for a couple of minutes, scraping the bottom of the pan to incorporate any brown bits.
  5. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Let it gently simmer until the sauce thickens.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce. Allow it to heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Notes

For lighter alternatives, consider substituting heavy cream with coconut milk or almond cream. You can also marinate the chicken for extra flavor or add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
