Description

Delightful roll-ups featuring tender roast beef and Swiss cheese wrapped in soft tortillas, perfect for dipping in warm broth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 ounces deli roast beef, sliced
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 large tortillas
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, then sauté until softened, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the sliced roast beef to the skillet and heat through for about 2-3 minutes until warmed.
  3. Prepare your tortillas by laying them flat on a clean surface. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on each tortilla.
  4. Spoon a portion of the beef mixture over the cheese on each tortilla, ensuring an even distribution.
  5. Roll the tortillas tightly around the filling, ensuring they are secure. Slice them into bite-sized pieces for easy dipping.
  6. To serve, dip the roll-ups into warmed beef broth.

Notes

For added flavor, experiment with different cheeses and tortillas. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
