Description

A creamy, tangy cheese ball rolled in pecans and cranberries, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 oz sharp white cheddar cheese, grated
  • ½ cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • ½ cup pecans, chopped, plus more for coating
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it out for 30 minutes or microwaving in 10-second bursts.
  2. In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth. Add honey or maple syrup.
  3. Fold in cranberries, chopped pecans, rosemary, and thyme into the mixture.
  4. Shape the mixture into a ball using plastic wrap and chill for at least 2 hours.
  5. Once firm, roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans to coat.
  6. Serve with crackers and enjoy!

Notes

Best served cold; store in the fridge and consume within 3-4 days.
