Description

Delightful salmon cakes with a crispy exterior and tender inside, rich in omega-3 fatty acids.


Ingredients

  • 1 can canned salmon
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine canned salmon, bread crumbs, egg, green onions, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve with lemon or tartar sauce.

Notes

Ensure the mixture is not too wet for the patties to hold together. Use a non-stick skillet to prevent burning.
