Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Pat the beef cubes dry with paper towels and season them with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add beef cubes in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned, slightly pink in the center.
  4. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Melt the butter in the same skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add minced garlic and optional red pepper flakes; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  7. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and lemon juice; bring to a simmer.
  8. Return seared beef to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  9. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to heat through and absorb flavors.
  10. Remove from heat, stir in fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Consider marinating the beef for a few hours to enhance flavor and tenderness.
