Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 package cream cheese (8 oz)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar (for caramel)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the sugar until it transforms into a golden-brown caramel. Pour this caramel into a round baking dish, coating the bottom evenly.
  3. In a blender, combine the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, cream cheese, eggs, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Carefully pour the blended mixture over the caramel in the baking dish.
  5. Place the baking dish in a larger pan and fill it with hot water to create a water bath. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the flan is set.
  6. Allow the flan to cool at room temperature before refrigerating for a few hours to enhance its flavor and texture.

Notes
