A satisfying sandwich that combines protein-packed chicken with creamy avocado and melted cheese, perfect for any meal of the day.


Ingredients

  • 2 cooked chicken breasts, shredded
  • 1 avocado, mashed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 4 slices of bread (your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter (for grilling)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mashed avocado, salt, and pepper.
  2. In another small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard.
  3. Spread the mayo mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Layer the chicken avocado mixture and shredded cheese between two slices of bread, mayo side facing in.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and butter the outside of the sandwiches.
  6. Grill the sandwiches for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
