Description

Ingredients

  • 4 Russet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tbsp coarse sea salt
  • Optional: chives, sour cream, cheese, bacon

Instructions

  1. Scrub and dry potatoes thoroughly.
  2. Rub each with olive oil or butter.
  3. Sprinkle generously with sea salt.
  4. Place directly on oven rack and bake at 425°F for 45–60 minutes.
  5. Split open, fluff insides, and add toppings as desired.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, brush potatoes with a second coat of oil halfway through baking.
