Description

A delicious stir-fry that combines crispy beef and a fiery sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • Beef
  • Cornstarch
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Chilli flakes
  • Soy sauce
  • Rice vinegar
  • Sugar
  • Bell peppers
  • Green onions
  • Neutral oil

Instructions

  1. Slice beef thinly and coat it in cornstarch.
  2. Heat neutral oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat, then fry the beef in batches for 3-4 minutes until crispy.
  3. In a bowl, mix garlic, ginger, chilli flakes, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sugar to prepare the sauce.
  4. Remove fried beef and drain on paper towels; wipe out excess oil from the pan.
  5. Add bell peppers to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until tender.
  6. Return beef to the pan, pour sauce over it, and toss to combine.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding sesame oil or using different types of bell peppers. Ensure oil is hot enough for crispiness.
