  • Author: Emma
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 10 tacos 1x

Description

Oven-baked crispy beef tacos made with seasoned beef and melted cheese—perfectly crunchy without deep frying. Easy, flavorful, and family-friendly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10 small corn tortillas
  • Avocado oil or olive oil for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Brown the beef in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add seasonings and lime juice; cook until slightly crispy.
  4. Warm tortillas in the microwave until flexible.
  5. Brush both sides of each tortilla with oil.
  6. Spoon beef and cheese into each tortilla, then fold.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15–18 minutes.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet or they won’t crisp evenly.
  • For extra crunch, flip halfway through baking.
  • Customize with toppings like sour cream, salsa, lettuce, or guac.
