Description

A comforting dish of ground beef in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce served with bowtie pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley and extra Parmesan for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the beef and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the beef broth, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with the creamy beef sauce. If the sauce needs thinning, add the reserved pasta water gradually.
  7. Stir everything together until well coated. Top with extra Parmesan and chopped parsley. Serve hot.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results. Adjust seasoning according to taste.
