These creamy garlic herb chicken crescent rolls are an indulgent treat with a rich filling wrapped in flaky dough, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, minced (or 1 tsp dried)
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, minced (or 1 tsp dried)
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 packages crescent roll dough (8 oz each)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Cooking spray or parchment paper for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  2. Combine the cooked chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, chives, thyme, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until creamy.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough on a clean surface and separate the triangles.
  4. Place about 2 tablespoons of filling at the wide end of each triangle and roll up toward the pointed tip, sealing the edges securely.
  5. Arrange the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

For added flavor, use grilled or rotisserie chicken. You can also incorporate sautéed vegetables like spinach or bell peppers into the filling.
