Description

A sumptuous blend of tender beef in a rich, creamy garlic butter sauce with spaghetti, perfect for family dinners and weeknight meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef (ribeye, sirloin, or flank), thinly sliced or cubed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan (plus more for topping)
  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente. Drain, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
  2. Season the beef with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning if desired. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in ¼ cup Parmesan until it forms a crust. Remove and set aside.
  4. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add remaining Parmesan, mixing until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  6. Toss spaghetti into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
  7. Return beef to the skillet and mix everything until combined.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.

Notes

For a healthier version, use whole-wheat spaghetti or gluten-free alternatives. Adjust garlic based on preference.
