Description
A sumptuous blend of tender beef in a rich, creamy garlic butter sauce with spaghetti, perfect for family dinners and weeknight meals.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb beef (ribeye, sirloin, or flank), thinly sliced or cubed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan (plus more for topping)
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
- Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente. Drain, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
- Season the beef with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning if desired. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Add the beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in ¼ cup Parmesan until it forms a crust. Remove and set aside.
- Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add remaining Parmesan, mixing until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Toss spaghetti into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
- Return beef to the skillet and mix everything until combined.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
Notes
For a healthier version, use whole-wheat spaghetti or gluten-free alternatives. Adjust garlic based on preference.
