- 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed

- 1 cup lump crab meat
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Cut the cold, cubed butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese and milk until just combined.
- In another bowl, gently combine the lump crab meat, chopped parsley, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt.
- Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough onto a baking sheet and create a small depression in each biscuit to fill with the crab mixture.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Combine melted butter and lemon juice in a small bowl and drizzle over the baked biscuits before serving.
Notes
For an even flakier texture, ensure that the butter is very cold before cutting it into the flour mixture.
