Deliciously indulgent Crab Rangoon Bombs, featuring a creamy crab filling wrapped in crispy fried wontons, perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Sweet chili sauce, for dipping

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and black pepper.
  2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until smooth.
  3. Lay out wonton wrappers and cover with a damp towel to prevent drying.
  4. Place about 1 tablespoon of the crab mixture in the center of each wrapper.
  5. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water.
  6. Bring the corners of the wrapper together and twist to seal.
  7. Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F.
  8. Lower the bombs into the hot oil in small batches.
  9. Fry for 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown.
  10. Remove the bombs with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Notes

Choose real crab meat for best flavor. Seal wontons tightly to prevent leakage during frying.
