- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup cooked crab meat, finely chopped
- ¼ cup green onions, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Oil for frying
- Sweet chili sauce, for dipping
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and black pepper.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly until smooth.
- Lay out wonton wrappers and cover with a damp towel to prevent drying.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of the crab mixture in the center of each wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water.
- Bring the corners of the wrapper together and twist to seal.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F.
- Lower the bombs into the hot oil in small batches.
- Fry for 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown.
- Remove the bombs with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Notes
Choose real crab meat for best flavor. Seal wontons tightly to prevent leakage during frying.
