Description

Delicious coconut bars with a satisfying texture and a chocolate drizzle, perfect for a sweet snack or party dessert.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups desiccated coconut, unsweetened
  • â…“ cup coconut cream
  • ½ cup sugar-free syrup
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 oz dark or sugar-free chocolate (minimum 85% cocoa solids)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the desiccated coconut, coconut cream, sugar-free syrup, and coconut oil. Stir until everything is well mixed.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into a lined baking pan, pressing it down firmly.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  5. Once baked, remove from the oven and allow it to cool. While it’s cooling, melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or using a double boiler.
  6. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cooled coconut bars for an extra layer of indulgence.
  7. Finally, cut into squares and serve as a delightful treat!

Notes

To store, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage. For variety, consider adding nuts or flavored syrups.
