- 3 cups desiccated coconut, unsweetened
- â…“ cup coconut cream
- ½ cup sugar-free syrup
- 4 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 oz dark or sugar-free chocolate (minimum 85% cocoa solids)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the desiccated coconut, coconut cream, sugar-free syrup, and coconut oil. Stir until everything is well mixed.
- Spread the mixture evenly into a lined baking pan, pressing it down firmly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and allow it to cool. While it’s cooling, melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or using a double boiler.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cooled coconut bars for an extra layer of indulgence.
- Finally, cut into squares and serve as a delightful treat!
Notes
To store, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage. For variety, consider adding nuts or flavored syrups.
