Ingredients

- 3 cups of diced potatoes
- 2 cups of diced ham
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the diced potatoes, diced ham, cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top if using, for added crunch.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For an even creamier casserole, use half-and-half instead of milk, or add a splash of sour cream. You can also add diced jalapeños for a kick.
