Description
A warm, cheesy garlic shrimp bread combining succulent shrimp sautéed in butter and garlic, topped with melted cheese on a toasted loaf.

- 1 large French baguette or Italian loaf
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup mayo (optional, for extra creaminess)
Instructions
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for one minute until fragrant, then add shrimp, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook until shrimp turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Prepare the bread by slicing it lengthwise and toasting the cut side under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until lightly golden.
- If desired, spread mayo over the toasted bread. Distribute the shrimp mixture evenly, top with mozzarella and Parmesan, and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
- Return the loaf to the broiler and broil until the cheese melts and turns golden, about 4-5 minutes.
- Allow to cool slightly, then cut into pieces and serve hot.
Notes
For best results, use fresh shrimp. Add lemon juice or paprika for extra flavor.
