Description

Delicious cheesy beef patties that are perfect for busy weeknights and gatherings, filled with melted cheese and juicy beef.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup additional shredded cheese for topping
  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  3. Shape the mixture into patties and create a small indentation in each.
  4. Fill each indentation with shredded cheese, then seal the patties around the cheese.
  5. Place the patties in a greased baking dish, spaced evenly.
  6. Top each patty with additional shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through and cheese is melted and golden.
