Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup additional shredded cheese for topping
- Cooking spray or oil for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
- Shape the mixture into patties and create a small indentation in each.
- Fill each indentation with shredded cheese, then seal the patties around the cheese.
- Place the patties in a greased baking dish, spaced evenly.
- Top each patty with additional shredded cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through and cheese is melted and golden.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to substitute ground beef with turkey or plant-based alternatives. Various cheeses can be used for different flavors.
